This memorial is dedicated to our brother Brian. Brian passed away on May 17, 2010, when he was 36 years old. Brian, we love you, you are missed by everyone who knew you. You were a brother, an uncle, a son and a good friend to many. If you knew Brian and would like to share something about him, please get in touch. Missed But Unforgotten

As soon as this site became available, a huge number of friends got in touch to show their support for the family, offer condolences and share memories. It was a testament to how many lives he'd touched in the short time he was here. Some of those we wanted to share here.

Thank you everyone

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and memories of Brian. The love of Brian you all have brings tears to my eyes. We miss him so much already. I went to his house for the first time since...and there was an emptiness in my heart. He had a way of giving me a knowing smile and a giggle--we had a way of speaking without words and all I want to do is hug him once more. All of the support we have received has been comforting yet heartbreaking, and I know in my heart that Brian knows how much we and his friends loved him. I am glad that this site is here so that all of us can visit Brian...whenever we need a good laugh, a good cry, or just someone to talk to. Thank you everyone for being here and for remembering the good times that were, and the good times that are still to come because that's what Brian would have wanted. O'Lay!!!!!!!

As you can imagine there are many memories of Brian. The one that came up recently was our "o'lay" moments. Every time Brian and I would walk past each other we would throw up our hands and yell "O'LAY!" I remember looking at mom after some of the longer "o'lay" sessions and all she could was shake her head and crack a little smile. I think that is one of the true testaments to Brian no matter what the circumstances it was important to Brian that you were happy. -Jim

What a great spirit Brian had. The world is a little less happy without him in it. His jokes and laughter are some of my favorite memories from HS. He'll be missed.

Brian was a wonderful guy, and I looked up to him when I was a little freshman at Hamilton. He always seeemed so together, so sure of himself, and so hilarious. He seemed to genuinely enjoy the company of most people, and made many lives better by having eclipsed them. I am so sad to hear of Brian's passing, and my heart and prayers go out to him and his family. Good-bye Brian; you will be greatly missed.

I still can't believe this, I just saw him at Jim and Cyndee's wedding. I remember him telling us stories, laughing and him giving Justin a hard time for not dancing with me. I can still see him smile and hear him laugh when I close my eyes. This is how I will always remember him! You will be greatly missed Brian, you were taken too young.

I always remembered seeing a smile on Brian's face while walking the halls of Hamilton....He was absolutely hilarious in Drama Club! I remember seeing him at various family gatherings after Cindy & Scott got married - and we always had a great time joking around. I will miss seeing him at times when I come back to visit from Colorado - just realizing that a fabulous person is missing from my 2nd family back in Wisconsin. My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Meade family. Please call me if you need anything - even if I am 1,000 miles away....... R.I.P Brian.

Although it's been about 15 years since we'd last seen each other, it does not diminish the good memories I have of Brian. The comical antics and story telling we shared while working at the Gun Club are unforgettable. It is sad to know that there won't be an opportunity to rehash our silliness, driving Gary crazy, and to share new stories. Rest in peace my friend, gone all too soon.
