Reflection

Looking back at our times together, they were not always happy and pleasant. In fact for several years, we spoke very little. At times we fought often. There were misunderstandings, grudges, and fights, and yet he was my brother. I forgot that too often, and didn't have the courage or honesty within myself to realize how much time that cost us; how that robbed moments we could have spent getting to know each other better.

I regret losing that time with Brian, but it's made me realize just how special each moment of my life -- all of our lives -- truly is.

Death is the inevitable outcome of life, but I don't fear it as I once did. Brian's death changed my perspective on life, and, over time I've come to understand and appreciate this gift more and more. -Scott, April 2018

Jason Schiller: Sorry

I am sorry to hear of Brian's Passing.  I have not seen him in a long time but I have a lot of fun memories of him.  May he rest in peace.

Natalie Bokelberg: Miss You

I always remembered seeing a smile on Brian's face while walking the halls of Hamilton....He was absolutely hilarious in Drama Club! I remember seeing him at various family gatherings after Cindy & Scott got married - and we always had a great time joking around. I will miss seeing him at times when I come back to visit from Colorado - just realizing that a fabulous person is missing from my 2nd family back in Wisconsin.  My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Meade family. Please call me if you need anything - even if I am 1,000 miles away.......

R.I.P Brian.

Ivy Sturgen: Brian

I am Lloyd's sister and it is true that the whole family adored Brian.  I admired his caring and honesty among other wonderful qualities.  Brian was such a sweet person and yes he will be greatly missed.

Matt Keup: Lost Too Soon

Although it's been about 15 years since we'd last seen each other, it does not diminish the good memories I have of Brian.  The comical antics and story telling we shared while working at the Gun Club are unforgettable.

It is sad to know that there won't be an opportunity to rehash our silliness, driving Gary crazy, and to share new stories.

Rest in peace my friend, gone all too soon.
